[BE:FIRST] Lunch at noon is my rule – 4 Questions for SHUNTO

Q: How has your impression of each member changed since you first met?

SOTA
We just met for the first time during the third screening of the audition, but he suddenly said “Please leave the dance to me!”, so I thought “there are some really forceful guys here” (lol). In fact, he’s a nice, agreeable guy, so it’s like he can be friends with anyone.

MANATO
After the end of the third screening, when I said “You’re good at singing!” to him, he said something like “Thank you”, so I thought he was a serious guy. Recently, he’s a guy that says a lot of crazy things, so I think he’s funny.

RYUHEI
We went to the same dance school, and the RYUHEI I knew was very serious. Recently, due to the influence of the group’s members and our BMSG comrades, he’s steadily breaking out of his shell and becoming extremely funny.

JUNON
He didn’t talk much, so I got the impression that he was quiet. I think he’s a person that thinks a lot but doesn’t show it on the surface. Even if there’s a time where he clearly shares what he’s thinking, there’s still a stoic feel I get from him.

RYOKI
He had a different aura, so I thought “This is what someone working in the entertainment industry is like” (*since RYOKI was already working professionally as an actor). There was a gentle atmosphere around him from the beginning, and that hasn’t changed. Just like JUNON, he’s a person who is confident in his self and isn’t swayed by others.

LEO
Honestly, I’ve known him since middle school, and since he’s a big guy when he’d say “Morning~” in a friendly way as a greeting it was scary (lol). However, meeting him again in the audition he was a cheerful person. He has a sensitive and cautious side as well.

Q: If you had to analyze your own character?

SHUNTO: I’m the type that tends to find a lot of things troublesome.

If I’m getting up on a day off, getting out of bed is already a pain. Then, when I’m thinking “I wonder what I should do?”, even things like pressing the power button on a game feel annoying (lol). However, having lunch at exactly noon is my rule.

Q: If you were an animal?

SHUNTO: My friends often tell me I’d be a shiba inu. They say my face is shiba inu-like.

But I think I’d be a sloth. Because I like to sleep, and it’s one of my favourite animals. When I was in middle school, going to the zoo and looking at them calmed me down.

Q: What’s changed the most since before your debut?

SHUNTO: The distance I have to travel (lol).

I was in my third year of high school, so I’d have to go back and forth from Tokyo to Nagoya for school. School was fifteen minutes from my house, but Tokyo was an hour and a half away by bullet train. But because it was too difficult to watch a full movie during that commuting time, during testing periods I’d use it to study.
